The company is a founding member of Aportem Puerto Solidario Valencia, and supports their Christmas campaign

Boluda Corporación Marítima will participate anew in the Christmas gift campaign in schools of the Maritime district of Valencia, as part of the annual Aportem Puerto Solidario Valencia Christmas campaign: the company is a founding member of the association. Boluda Corporación Marítima will give Christmas gifts to 13 third-year students and 15 fourth-year boys and girls from the infants and primary school Nuestra Señora del Carmen, located in the El Cabañal area.

This decision was adopted by the board of directors and the general assembly of Aportem-Puerto Solidario Valencia, who approved the association’s 2019 budget on Friday. This gift campaign has been a complete success, granting all 268 requests from several Maritime district educational centers to provide students with a gift for Christmas. Aside from Boluda Corporación Marítima, others participating in the campaign are Docks Logistics Spain, APM, Amarradores de Valencia, Port Employment Centre, MSC Terminal Valencia, Valencia Customs Agents and Representatives Association, MA Abogados, Noatum Container Terminal Valencia, Infoport and Sertego-environmental services. The gifts will be delivered on 20 and 21 December.

The work meetings also reported on outcomes of the food and essentials collection campaign carried out in recent days. Everything collected in the different reception points has been classified and will be distributed this week between several entities, principally Alanna, Santa Ana nursery, Amigos de la Calle (Friends of the Street) and the Brúfol association.

These initiatives have enabled children from schools and institutions around the port of Valencia to have access to clothing and sports equipment, school supplies, instruments, breakfast, snacks, eye check-ups and glasses, heating, child psychologist attention for the youngest, among other actions.

These meetings have also approved the inclusion of four new partners: Pascual Gimeno, Lorena Ballester, Salvador Navarro and Intermodal Global Logistics, meaning that Aportem now includes a total of 26 companies, associations and professionals from the logistics sector in the Valencian port.
