The tug VB Hispania experiences a difficult crossing of the Bay of Biscay

The tug VB Hispania made a crossing from Flushing (Netherlands) to Villagarcía (Spain) and was met with harsh wind and sea conditions and a force 9 storm, forcing the vessel to endure large waves, surf and diminished visibility. The Bay of Biscay is considered an area that is especially susceptible to bad weather and one in which ships suffer most from its effects.

The company will adapt a bunker barge for the transportation of LNG.

The project will contribute to the decarbonisation of the European sea lanes in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

Through Boluda Corporación Martíma’s participation in the GAINN4MOS project, the company is adapting a transport and supply bunker barge for the transportation of LNG, a more environmentally-friendly fuel.

Boluda has intervine in the simulation of fire in the port of Valencia.

A fire in a oil tanker was extinguished after the manoeuvre of refuelling.

Boluda Towage and Salvage, the division  of Tugboats of Boluda Corporación Marítima has participated in the simulation of fire realized in the port of Valencia that has consisted in the extinction of the fire that concern the fitting area-superstructure- of the oil tanker Lioba, who was berthed in Tepsa/Galp, simulating that the accident took part once the operation of charge of fuel and gaz was finished.
