The “Spabunker 40” is being adapted for the transport of natural liquid gaz (GNL) beside bunker.
The technical team of the project GAINN4MOS, that is transforming the barge “Spabunker 40”, of the Boluda Tankers fleet, for the transport of natural liquid gaz (GNL), visited the vessel who is providing a service in the port of Ceuta.
The objective of the visite is the evaluation in place of the adaptation of the barge to this new kind of transport that is more respectable with the environment.
Representatives of the foundation Valenciaport and Seaplace, ingeneering Company in charge of the execution of the Project, have valued positivily the visit and the high degree of implication of the crew of the barge and their officers : The captain, Nicolás Martín Martín; Francisco López Ariza, Ingeneers chief, as well as Antonio Mainez, inspector of Boluda Tankers fleet in Algeciras.
