A fire in a oil tanker was extinguished after the manoeuvre of refuelling.
Boluda Towage and Salvage, the division of Tugboats of Boluda Corporación Marítima has participated in the simulation of fire realized in the port of Valencia that has consisted in the extinction of the fire that concern the fitting area-superstructure- of the oil tanker Lioba, who was berthed in Tepsa/Galp, simulating that the accident took part once the operation of charge of fuel and gaz was finished.In the operation have participated the tugboats VB Vigor and VB Soñador, of the headquarter of Valencia, whose crews undertook the extinction of the fire with the means on board, the monitors of the installation on land were activated and it was acted with the monitors fi-fi of the tugboats that realized tasks of cooling the hull of the area of the stern.
