A spectacular Christmas dinner brought Boluda employees from all over the world together for the very first time.

Seven of the company’s managerial staff received recognition for their constant devotion, dedication and professionalism.

Boluda Corporación Marítima recently celebrated the group’s very first awards ceremony or Premios BCM, whereby seven different categories of awards were presented to the company’s outstanding employees, the objective, according to Vicente Boluda, the Corporation’s chairman, “to publicly acknowledge the dedication and professionalism of each of the employees being honoured”. Boluda signs a new construction contract with Haifa Port Company

Boluda Shipyards, the shipbuilding and repair division of the Boluda Corporación Marítima, has signed a new contract with Haifa Port Company Limited, the public sector company in Israel, for the design, construction and delivery of a 70 ton Voith Schneider bollard pull tug. The contract was signed in the presence of Mendi Zaltzman, the managing director of Haifa Port and Boluda’s own managing director, Alicia Martín.

Boluda builds a tug which is going to operate in the North Sea

This latest tug boat has just been launched at the company’s Valencia based shipyard

Boluda Corporación Marítima has just celebrated the launch of “Solan”, a 37 metre tug which will be transferred to the Shetland Islands for March 2010, the expected delivery date whereupon the tug will be operating from the Sullom Voe terminal and mainly in the North Sea. This is the United Kingdom’s largest oil terminal, exporting some 25 million tons per year. Continue reading
