Two Boluda Corporación Marítima tugboats refloat ferry with 313 people onboard stranded near port of Calais due to storm with 120 kmph gusts

The Boluda France tugboats TRIOMPHANT and PUISSANT based in Dunkirk joined the rescue after a failed attempt by two tugboats from a different French company

On 10 December the TRIOMPHANT and PUISSANT tugboats of Boluda France, Boluda Corporación Marítima’s French towing and salvage division, successfully refloated a ferry with 313 people on board (208 passengers and 105 crew), which had run aground in the vicinity of the French port of Calais. The ferry was also transporting 74 trucks, 36 light vehicles and a coach. Continue reading

Logistics Sector raises 25,000 euros for Aportem Puerto Solidario for people at risk of social exclusion in Valencia’s Maritime districts

In the 5th annual Propeller Club Valencia Charity Gala, Boluda Corporación Marítima was represented by the Communication and Institutional Relations manager and the associate Human Resources manager

Propeller Club Valencia has this year raised 25,000 euros for Aportem Puerto Solidario Valencia, an entity that fundraises for women, children and immigrants at risk of social exclusion in the port area. The money raised will provide food, clothing, toiletries, school supplies and sports equipment for disadvantaged groups, as well as meeting the most urgent needs of 16 associations and institutions of Valencia’s maritime districts. One of the national and international sector leaders in global maritime services, Boluda Corporación Marítima exhibited its environmental commitment to protect the ecosystem in the international environmental solutions trade fair Ecofira, participating with its own stand (N1-P5-E49) for the first time. The exhibition was open to the public in Pavilion 5 of Fira Valencia from 28 to 30 November, an opportunity for companies to present new recycling strategies and advances in the fight against climate change.
