“Harmony of the Seas” able to sail the Mediterranean for seven days

Boluda Tankers, Boluda Corporación Marítima’s fuel supply and transportation division, has provided refueling services in Barcelona to the world’s largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s “Harmony of the Seas”, 362m long with a capacity of 9,000.

The barge Spabunker 41 was commissioned to supply 900 tons of fuel and 300 tons of diesel from Cepsa, one of the world’s leading marine fuel suppliers. The transaction was completed in 2.5 hours, refueling at an average of 400 tons of fuel and 150 tons of diesel per hour. The fuel supply allows the “Harmony of the Seas” to sail the Mediterranean uninterrupted for seven days.

The Spabunker 41, 72 metres long with a supply capacity of 4,026 tons, is part of Boluda Tankers’ fleet, made up of 18 tankers and barges equipped with the latest technology. Boluda Tankers prioritises transportation and supply security and respect for the environment. Sector leader in Spain with an annual supply capacity of over twelve million tons of fuel, it provides services in the main national ports.
