The division Boluda Towage and Salvage increases in that way its presence in the Mediterranean Sea and reinforce its position in the ports of the valencian community

Boluda Corporación Marítima through its division Boluda Towage and Salvage, dedicated to the port tug, high sea tug and off shore activities and maritime salvage, got (obtained) the licence which gives it the assistance of tug services in the port of Alicante.

To execute this activity, Boluda Towage and Salvage has assigned two of its tugs to operate in this enclave, concretely the tugs Boluda Mari and J.Torres. In words of Juan Gonzalez president of the division, this new service supposes increasing the presence of Boluda Towage and Salvage in the Mediterranean sea, covering its main ports but mainly to reinforce our position into the Valencian Community.

Nowadays, Boluda Towage and Salvage has a fleet of 210 tugs which operates in 54 ports worldwide. In these moments the division is designing its five-year plan in which it previews to increase the number of its own tugs. This increase of the fleet will be materialised soon with the incorporation of four new boats which are ready to be built.

The port and high sea tug is the core business of the company; essential activity to accelerate the traffic in the ports and with what Boluda Corporación Marítima started its operations in 1920. Nowadays the company holds a leader position with the tugs, in the national field as in the international one and thanks to the diversification of its activity and the internationalisation, it has become one of the mainly referenced companies in the global maritime services
