The entity brings together 40 shipping, cargo handling and shipping agent enterprises

Boluda Corporación Marítima chairman Vicente Boluda Fos has been re-elected president of the Valencian Shipping Association (ANV) without challengers at this week’s general meeting, a position he will hold until 2024.

With this re-election, the chairman of the leading global maritime services holding group begins his fourth term since being elected ANV president in 2004.

With 40 company members from the shipping, shipping agent and stevedoring sector, the Valencian Shipping Association this year marks 118 years since its establishment on 17 May 1902.

The association plays a major role in the rapid development and dynamism of the ports of Valencia, Sagunto and Gandía, areas that have served as drivers of economic and social progress not only in these cities but also throughout the Valencia province. The Valencian Shipping Association president underlined his pride that “our 40 member companies are at the forefront in providing quality maritime services while respecting the ecosystems of land and sea.”
