In the international sea products and frozen foods event Boluda Corporación Marítima’s shipping division showcased its new direct commercial line between the Canary Islands and Cabo Verde, due to enter into service this month

Boluda Lines concluded the 19th annual Conxemar trade fair with high levels of participation, and particular customer interest in its new direct commercial line between the Canary Islands and Cabo Verde, due to enter into service this month. This year Boluda Lines once again showcased an estimated over 50% increase in load capacity, together with more frequent port calls and notably reduced times, all clearly aimed at improving the connection between the Canary Islands and the Peninsula, the Peninsula with ports in West Africa and trade links between the Canary Islands and West Africa.

Boluda Corporación Marítima’s comprehensive transportation and international goods management division, which has participated in Vigo for 14 years with its own stand at the international sea products and frozen foods exhibition, is a leader in the sector due to the rapidity of its transit times to transport perishable and frozen foods, offering both comprehensive and specific solutions that benefit from reduced delivery times, door to door service, and the maximum guarantee of safety in the food chain.

The shipping company showed clients and visitors its specialized expertise in transporting perishable goods, frozen fish and dry freight, as well as its regular weekly services with excellent transit time, fleet and load capacity, which surpass the highest standards required by the cold chain logistics sector.

Boluda Lines operates eight container ships with refrigerated connections for perishable and frozen foods transport, on nine commercial lines connecting the Canary Islands, the Iberian Peninsula, the Balearic Islands, Italy, northern Europe, and the west coast of Africa. This number is soon to increase to ten with the opening of the line between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the ports of Praia, Mindelo, Sal and Boavista in the Republic of Cabo Verde.

In addition, through Boluda Cargo Int’l the corporation offers a forwarding service, sending any type of goods to any location. Its 75 offices worldwide and team of experts result in a high quality service.

This exhibition is organized by the Conxemar Association for importers, exporters, wholesalers and distributers of fish and aquaculture products, and is one of the sector’s leading trade fairs in Europe. With an exhibition area of over 30,000 m2, it was attended by 600 exhibitors from 43 countries and more than 30,000 visitors.
