The logistics sector raised 23,000 euros for Aportem Puerto Solidario for disadvantaged children in the port area of Valencia
Boluda Corporación Marítima was represented by the associate manager of Human Resources and the manager of Communication and Institutional Relations
The 4th Logistics Sector Charity Gala, organized by Propeller Club Valencia, has raised 23,000 euros for the institution Aportem Puerto Solidario Valencia, an entity that fundraises for children and families at risk of social exclusion in the port area. The money raised will provide the most disadvantaged children with food, clothing, toiletries, school supplies and sports equipment.
A founding member of Aportem Puerto Solidario Valencia, Boluda Corporación Marítima supports and participates in humanitarian actions as part of its corporate social responsibility policy.
The gala raised 3,000 euros more than in the previous edition thanks to donations from collaborators, sponsors, tickets, raffles, drinks and a second donation from the Propeller Club.
Associate Manager of Human Resources Alfonso Garrido and Communication and Institutional Relations Manager Amparo Valero represented Boluda Corporación Marítima at the gala, held on 25 November at a hotel in Valencia.
The Valencian logistics sector has shown its most socially-aware side with this event in which 160 people participated, representing each of the 19 companies, institutions and associations that make up Aportem Puerto Solidario. The chairman of Valenciaport, Aurelio Martínez, reminded everyone at the dinner that Aportem is planning shortly to establish an association to enhance its charitable role.
