Boluda Corporación Marítima collaborated in two sports events held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with a total participation of 600. The company donated different container units which provided extra challenges to the strength and endurance sports training techniques.

The two competitions, the 4th Civic-Military Crossfast and the 1st Team Warriors Race, organized by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife city council, the “Tenerife 49” Infantry Regiment and the port authority, transformed the city into an assault course.

As part of their corporate social responsibility program, Boluda Corporación Marítima supports this type of event as an initiative to back sports, cultural and social events organized in Spain. In this case, the Boluda Lines containers served as part of a diverse collection of climbing obstacles set up around the port and the city centre.

The 4th Civic-Military Crossfast of Tenerife, which aims to bring citizens into closer contact with the army, mainly used military equipment and Boluda Lines containers for the climbing test. The competition was organized in the morning with teams of three including at least one female member per team.

270 people, divided into 90 teams of three, participated in this edition of the race, over a course spanning 1 km set up in the Los Llanos dock front. Boluda Corporación Marítima is a sponsor of the traditional Christmas concert that is held each year also at the Los Llanos dock.

In the afternoon, Santa Cruz de Tenerife city centre streets hosted the first edition of the Team Warriors Race, a 5 km obstacle course with no previous training required. The 318 participants divided into 106 teams of three, faced trials such as a maze, mud skips, house of flour, wire fence, water skips, tire mountains and rope jumps over Boluda Lines containers.
