Boluda Corporación Marítima has been recognized in the awards Puertos de Las Palmas 2013, for its implication in the cooperation network of Cooperation Euroafrican in the port area GESPORT.
Boluda Corporación Marítima is the master of the foundation Puerto de Las Palmas and keeps a close collaboration with this entity that, through this recognition, has distinguished its work, that allowed to encourage the formation of technicians and workers in different stratus of the port administration of the African places closer to the archipelago, in a clear action of collaboration and transmission of its knowhow.
Gesport is a transnational project that pretends to implement a huge programme of cooperation and develop a network of sustainable cooperation that gives in a major scale a regional integration in the port range. Then this project allow the exchange of good practices in the port administration, the training of human resources, the exchange of good environmental and security practices and the modernization of the port infrastructures.
Joaquín Quiles, attached to Presidency of Boluda Corporación Marítima, received the award from the hands of Luis Ibarra Betancort, President of the Port Authority of Las Palmas during a ceremony celebrated in the Real Club Náutico of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
