The participants from the shipping company were Javier Sansó y Carla Socas.

Javier Sansó, manager of  West África lines and Carla Socas, manager in Tenerife of Boluda lines, the shipping division of Boluda Corporación Marítima, have participated in a Round Table about “Maritime and Air Communications between Canaris and Occidental Africa” organized by the Canarian Society of Economic Developpement, S.A. (Proexca).

Boluda Corporación Marítima displays activity in the west of Africa through its divisions of port tug, Boluda Towage and Salvage, of transport and bunker delivery, Boluda Tankers, of consignee and transitory, Boluda Ships Agency and Forwarding and of shipping company Boluda Lines.

The countries of the occidental coast of Africa where Boluda Corporación Marítima maintains activity with the establishment of a permanent constituency office are: Morroco, Tunis, Senegal, Mauritania, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast and Cameroun.

The debates have been internal, purely technical, with no assistance of public and in which have participated exporters, operators and members of the General direction of Relationships with Africa and the General Direction of Transport of the Government of the Canaris. The advantages and  the strangulations found by the operators (customs rules, ministerial obstacles, etc.) as well as the exporters in those markets, to try to direct politics that boost the communications between Canaris and those countries in a completely constructive way, have been analised.
