Its hospital boat “Africa Mercy”, was berthed in the port of Las Palmas, with the selfless collaboration of Boluda.

The Foundation Naves de Esperanza, is a ONG destined for the promotion of the health and the well-being of the communities in way of development. Its hospital boat “Africa Mercy” sighted land in Las Palmas for repairs last summer, affording Boluda Corporación Marítima its selfless assistance in all the manovers of berth and casting-off in the port.

The hospital boat “Africa Mercy” has a length of 152 and 16.571 raw tons, has 6 surgeries, 78 hospitalization beds, intensive cares, X-Ray, TAC, own laboratory and telemedicine equipments.

The Foundation Naves de Esperanza collaborates with harmed communities mainly in countries in way of development in the atlantic area of West Africa, in Central America and in the Caribbean, as well as the region of Asia and Pacific. Since 1978 the fleet of Naves de Esperanza, has accomplished more than 220 medical interventions in its boats in more than 50 countries of the Third World.
