Important meetings have been maintained with representatives of the governments of Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Benin and Cap Verde.

 

Boluda Lines, shipping company of Boluda Corporación Marítima, has been present in the logistic fair of reference regarding the connectivity with Africa, SALT 2012, with an own stand where it presented its new lines and the improvement of the existing ones.

Boluda Lines has been maintaining regular lines with countries of Occidental Africa and Cap Verde for 12 years. This great experience allows it to keep the pulse of this important traffic, really significant for the Canary Islands, and make easier to the archipelago the consolidation of new ways of business thanks to its strategic enclave that allow it as an intercontinental platform. 

In the framework of the presentation about connectivity, made by Fernando Caracciolo, manager of International Lines, were exposed the novelties regarding the lines that joins the Canary Islands with Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal and Cap Verde, through its regular services with the Iberian Peninsula, Italy and North of Europe, via our Hub ports in Canaries.

It necessary to emphasize as most important novelties, the opening of new group lines with Africa and Cap Verde, through Miller Logistica, consignee company belonging to the Corporation. The consolidation of the monthly scale in Mindelo/Sal and Boavista (Green Cap). The 2 monthly scales in the port of Nouakchott and Nouadhibou (Mauritania), Agadir ( Morroco), Dakar (Senegal) and Scales in Spot in Layounne and Dakla.

Project Cargo and road charge by means of our boats Africa B and Vero B, as well as the interafrican charge between the ports of Occidental Africa and South-America (Brazil and Argentina) with destination to Cap Verde and Canary Islands. All the lines offer the possibility of transport of dry and frozen charge, with the 1.500 last generation containeres Reefers High Cube of 40 feet.

The bet of Boluda Corporación Marítima is obvious, through its shipping company Boluda Lines, for the Canary Islands as well as for the mentioned places of Occidental Africa that, thanks to the inversions made, has been able to originate local business, by the creation of agencies, long shores and offices, with the following making of employment.
