Boluda continues its commitment to artistic and cultural promotion in the archipelago, sponsoring for more than a decade the traditional symphonic concert held as part of the International Festival of Theater, Music and Dance of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, better known as the Temudas Fest.

An edition that this year has celebrated its 28th edition and has brought together more than 2,600 spectators who have been able to enjoy the concert offered by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria at the container terminal of Boluda Corporación Marítima. The Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria, under the direction of conductor Karel Mark Chichon, offered a true spectacle with dance as the inspiring theme.

Entitled “An Invitation to Dance,” the performance delighted the audience with some of Tchaikovsky’s greatest ballet works such as Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty in a staging starring two of the most acclaimed soloists of London’s Convent Garden Royal Ballet company, Sae Maeda and Harris Bell.

Boluda Lines, the subsidiary of Boluda Corporación Marítima and Boluda Maritime Terminals Las Palmas, dedicated to the integral transport service and international management of goods, once again demonstrates the company’s commitment to the promotion of culture and art in the community.

Organized by the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and produced by Promoción de la Ciudad, the 28th Theater Festival, Music and Dance has had the collaboration of the Ministry of Culture and Sport and the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM), the Government of the Canary Islands, the Canary Islands Institute for Cultural Development (ICDC), the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and Puertos de Las Palmas.

As in previous editions, the musical event had 50,000 square meters of port land and a backstage designed with more than 75 containers that were the perfect setting for an event that annually shines with its own light.
