Boluda Corporación Marítima donates container to Cáritas in Tenerife towards organic farming course for 40

The Tenerife en Verde project is aimed at the socially excluded, homeless and long-term unemployed

On Friday 23 June Boluda Corporación Marítima collaborated again with Cáritas Diocesana de Tenerife, donating a 40ft container towards its Tenerife en Verde green project, subsidized by the Cabildo (Canarian council), to train 40 participants to become organic farmers. The training is targeted at people at risk of exclusion, the long-term unemployed and homeless people currently residing in the facilities of the charity organisation Cáritas. Continue reading

Los remolcadores “VB Dauville”, “VB Barfleur” y “VB Tornade”, de la flota de Boluda France, la filial francesa de remolque y salvamento marítimo de Boluda Corporación Marítima, llevaron a cabo con total éxito la maniobra de atraque del buque “Mol Triumph”, el portacontenedores más grande del mundo, en el puerto de El Havre. Boluda France tugboats assist world’s largest container ship Mol Triumph during stopover at port of Le Havre

The VB Dauville, VB Barfleur and VB Tornade, tugs from the fleet of Boluda France, Boluda Corporación Marítima’s French marine towing and salvage subsidiary, successfully towed the largest container ship in the world, the Mol Triumph, into dock in the port of Le Havre. The Mol Triumph measures 400 m in length and can carry up to 20,170 containers.  Continue reading

Boluda Corporación Marítima’s comprehensive transportation and international cargo management division Boluda Lines has appointed José María Arassa manager of the Mediterranean line, which covers the route between Barcelona-Valencia-Tenerife-Las Palmas de Gran Canaria-Tenerife-Santa Cruz de la Palma-Alicante-Valencia-Barcelona, with offices in Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza and Madrid. Boluda Corporación Marítima at the forefront in appointing women to senior management positions 

A report by Grant Thornton highlights that 27% of managerial roles in the business sector in Spain are held by women, in line with 22% in the shipping Company

The proportion of managerial positions held by women in Spain has increased by 1% in twelve months, from 26% in 2016 to 27% in 2017. However, in the Valencian Community the figure is lower, at 18%, according to “Women in business: diverse visions, joint solutions”, a report prepared by the accounting and consulting firm Grant Thornton and presented yesterday in Valencia.
