The VB Dauville, VB Barfleur and VB Tornade, tugs from the fleet of Boluda France, Boluda Corporación Marítima’s French marine towing and salvage subsidiary, successfully towed the largest container ship in the world, the Mol Triumph, into dock in the port of Le Havre. The Mol Triumph measures 400 m in length and can carry up to 20,170 containers.

Operations of this scale demonstrate the high levels of professionalism and training possessed by Boluda Towage and Salvage crews, who are skilled in every kind of manoeuvre.

Boluda France has ten tugs in the port of Le Havre which, like the rest of the Boluda Towage and Salvage fleet, operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Two tugs are permanently positioned at the Port 2000 container terminal of Le Havre to assist incoming and outgoing vessels. Located in the northwest of France on the English Channel, Le Havre was chosen by Mol shipping company as its first port of call, being one of the few European ports able to accommodate vessels of this size.
