It will showcase its improved connections with the Canary Islands, new vessels, increase in cargo capacity and expanded fleet of mainly reefer containers

Boluda Lines will once again take participate in Conxemar, the International Frozen Seafood Exhibition taking place in Vigo on 4, 5 and 6 october. The shipping company, which has attended the event for 12 consecutive years, has its own stand, I-28.

Boluda Lines will showcase this year a significant increase in its load capacity, estimated at more than 50%, together with more frequent port calls and notably reduced times, all with the clear objective of improving the connection between the Canary Islands and the Peninsula.

To bring about this improvement in service the shipping company has added two sister ships to its fleet, the “Nordcheetah” and the “Nordluchs”, 170m long, with 28m beam and capacity for 1400 14-ton TEUs. Boluda Lines has also increased its fleet of (mainly reefer) containers by 2500 units.

Boluda Lines operates 10 commercial lines connecting the Canary Islands, the Iberian Peninsula, Italy, northern Europe, the west coast of Africa and Cape Verde. It is highly specialized in transporting perishable goods and frozen fish. Its regular weekly services with excellent transit time, its fleet and its load capacity more than meet the high standards required by the cold chain logistics sector.
