The contract is awarded for 20 years

Boluda Francia, a subsidiary of Boluda Corporación Marítima, has been chosen to provide towing and mooring services in the port of Lomé (Togo), for which purposes it will create the respective company Boluda Lomé. To initiate this exclusive 20-year contract Boluda Lomé will take on all current staff and modernize the fleet in line with the quality standards of Boluda Corporación Marítima.

Lomé, located in the Gulf of Guinea, is the administrative and industrial centre of the country and the largest port in Togo. It is one of the few deep-water ports of West and Central Africa, with a depth of 16 metres, and its geographical location makes it the transhipment port of the West African coast.
There are currently two large state-of-the-art container terminals in the port of Lomé, run by the companies Bolloré and MSC.
With this port, Boluda Corporación Marítima maintains its strategy of international development, one of the cornerstones of its growth, now operating in 9 ports in Africa and 70 worldwide.
