The first port where it gives services is Salaverry
Boluda América has started to give services of towing in the port of Salaverry, un of the most actives commercial ports of Peru, situated in the área of La Libertad quite close to the city of Trujillo and at 545 km from Lima.
Firstable two tugboats have been destinated to this port, The VB Chiriqui of 30 metres long, 10,06 metres large, 4,31 of prop and a fixed pull of 35 tons and the VB Furioso of 34,15 metres long, 9,22 metres large, 3,72 of prop and a fixed pull of 40 tons. The VB Chiriqui is equipped by a double propulsion tractor azumutal Schottel and the VB Furioso with a double propulsion cycloidal Voith Schneider.
The characteristiques of both units make the port to be perfectly prepared to offer to customers and users a service of high quality as well as technical questions like the aspects linked with the maritime security, as both of them count with equipment for the fight against fire and against maritime contamination.
With this new inversion, in front of which will be the offshore captain Antonio Goicochea, Boluda America keep increasing its presence in South America giving to the international maritime community a new possibility of secure port service, competitive and trustable.
