It  towed the drawer floating dock “Kugira” of 13.606 tons.

The tugboat VB Hispania recently incorporated to the fleet of Boluda Towage and Salvage, has realized its first Off Shore Operation towing the drawer floating dock Kugira of the company Acciona Infraestructuras, of 77,40 metres long, 49,00 large, 56 high, and 13606 tons of displacement from Cadiz to Algeciras.

The VB Hispania with a power of 8050 HP and 103 tons of pull, acted as main tugboat and the Sertosa 18 with a power of 3350 HP and 48 tons of pull, was the guide tugboat, hooked to the stern of the drawer floating dock during the journey. In maneuver of the casting off in the port of Cadiz, participated the tugboat VB Cadiz, VB Jerez, VB Rota and VB Boxer, belonging also to the fleet of Boluda Towage and Salvage.

The drawer dock Kugira is the biggest floating dock of Europe and it is taking part right now in the extension of the wharf Campamento in the port of Algeciras.
