Vicente Boluda gave the speech in the presentation of the XXVII edition of the King Jaime I awards, ceremony presided by HRH The King Felipe VI.

 
The solemn act was open by the King who highlighted “Spain as a modern and advanced country, we need to support and impulse the researcher activity contributing to its cause, who is the cause of progress”.
 
 
In his side, Vicente Boluda, appealed to the conciliatory role of the Royal House and added , “The valencian cientists still need the support for their activity”. He also defended that “we need a country in which we eradicate the crispation and bet for the consensus.
 
The awarded of the XXVII edición have been : Luis Manuel Liz-Marzán, in basic research; Juan José Dolado, in Economy; Josep Brugada, in medical research; Josep Peñuelas Reixach, in protection of the environment; Pablo Artal, in new technologies; Óscar Landeta Elorz, as entrepreneur and the Spanish Association Against Cancer, in social commitment.
 
Those awards are one of the best remunerated in the country with an economic dotation of 100 000 euros with the engagement to invest part in Spain.
