Cartagena – Boluda Towage and Salvage, Port and offshore division of towage of Boluda Corporación Marítima, is training its personal on board in the Integrated Professional Formation Center Hesperides, in a course specific for the needs of the workers from Boluda, that allow them to exercice as officials and machine chiefs in merchant boats till 6000 kw.
With this, its the third edition of this courses, who till the date have trained in this speciality at 34 workers.
José Luis González, manager of Boluda Towage and Salvage España, recived yesterday in the Port of Cartagena at Marta López-Briones, general manager of Professional training and Special Regime who accompanied by Antonio Arroyo, director of the Center Hesperides, got on the Tugboat VB Asdrubal and checked the work done by the tugboats, that allow them to know the characteristics of the training the sailors of Boluda are receiving.
Later on, in the centre Hespérides, Antonio Arroyo, together with the faculty meeting of professors, exposed the technics used for the training and explained that the habilities gained are exactly those required by the company, that credit the great success of those courses.
José Luis González expressed his grattitude to everyone, for the disponibility and flexibility and focused that “in Boluda the training is part of the DNA of the company, where we appreciate the value of our workers, that are great professionals and who they will be much more since now.
