Valencia – APORTEM Puerto Solidario Valencia, has celebrated today a year since its first meeting of work, counting with Boluda Corporación Marítima as founder member.
During this period, this altruist group which end is to promote the Social Corporative Responsibility in the Port Community of Valencia, has consolidated itself and its members have increased.
During its first year, APORTEM has made several supportive campaigns addressed to schools and institutions close to the port of Valencia. Between them we find the campaign of donation of food, the collection of 18000 articles of school material and the more than 500 toys offers to minors who lived the pas Christmas in a precarious situation. In total the collaboration of the professionals of the area has allowed the obtaining of 3 tons and a half of food, many thousands articles of personal health and home, as well as clothes and furniture for the home. Also there were collaborations with initiatives of others companies and institutions, as the elaboration of calendars to get money for Haiti, the organization of visits to the port for family to professionals of the area, the capitation of founds for the House of benevolence o the collaboration with the gold raffle of the Red Cross.
With the new incorporation to this singular initiative, there are yet 4900 professionals who represent the 19 companies and institutions that are in this supportive organizations. The current members of APORTEM are: Fundación Valenciaport, Amarradores del Puerto de Valencia, Asociación Naviera Valenciana, ATEIA Valencia, Grupo Diario, Noatum Ports Valenciana, Propeller Club Valencia, Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia, Aljibes Boscá, Balearia, Boluda Corporación Marítima, SEVASA- SAGEP, TCV Stevedoring Company, Urbamar Levante, Colegio Oficial de Agentes de Aduanas Valencia, Docks Logistics Spain, Infoport, MSC Terminal Valencia y Tiba Internacional.
