The purpose of this working group is to improve the environmental state of the ports Gandía, Sagunto y Valencia.
Boluda Towage and Salvage, division of port tug and ocean going of Boluda Corporación Marítima, has taken part voluntarily in the program Ecoport promoted by the Port Authority of Valencia and which has for object to improve in quality and quantity the state of the environment in the ports administered by the APV
The enterprises who are in the environmental committee, formulate voluntarily between other seven environmental objectives, as the decreasing of the consumption of water, minimization of dangerous waste or the decreasing of electric consumption.
Between the seven objectives formulate by the participating enterprises, Boluda Towage and Salvage, after the establishment of the plan of reduction of the consumption of water, has reduce its consumption in a 19%, of the 3% of the objective specify by the program.
The participation of Boluda Towage and Salvage in Ecoport, suppose a great effort to increase and improve the implantation of the politic of Social Corporative Responsibility specify by Boluda Corporación Marítima.
