The Presdient of Boluda Corporación Marítima Vicente Boluda, has made a institutional trip to Senegal where the Corporation has an important establishment, with the presence of two of its more importants divisions, Boluda Towage and Salvage and Boluda Lines.
Vicente Boluda has been accompanied in this trip by Vicente Boluda Ceballos, Councellor of Boluda Towage and Salvage, Joaquín Quiles, Attached to Presidency, Juan González, President of Boluda Towage and Salvage, Antonio Bordils, Chief Executive Officer of Boluda Towage and Salvage, Fernando Caracciolo, Manager of International Lines of Boluda Lines, Gorka Carrillo, Manager of Control of Management of Boluda Lines and Javier Sansó, Manager for West África and Cape Verde of Boluda Lines.
Boluda Towage and Salvage offers a tug service in the port of Dakar, with 5 tugs, through the society Union des Remorqueurs de Dakar (URD), company that provide tug service in the port of Dakar for more than 50 years.
On its behalf Boluda Lines links the port of Dakar with the peninsula, Italy and north of Europe through its hub port of Las Palmas, with 2 stops monthly, and where it offers dry charge as well as road, frozen and project cargo.
In Dakar, Vicente Boluda and the managers of the different divisions, were welcome by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Senegal Adoul M. Baye. During the interview the strong links who already existed has been reinforced and other ways of team collaboration have been explored.
An encounter with the Ambassador of Spain in Senegal, Cristina Díaz Fernández-Gil, who took interest for the activity developped by Boluda Corporación Marítima in the african country, has been maintained.
Both autorities thanks the volunteer project of Boluda Corporación Marítima “Humanitarian Transport”, who got in Senegal one of its main objectives, being the country with more benefits by the delivery of humanitarian material that has arrived regularly, transporting free on board of the boats of Boluda Lines.
During all the visit Vicente Boluda and the delegation who accompanied him, have been assisted by the local representants, Hervé Lefevre, General Manager of Boluda Towage and Salvage África, Ludovic Henanff, Manager of URD and Javier Sesma, delegate of Boluda Lines in Senegal.
This visit has marked a point of inflection in the relations with the African country, then the existent link with the several administration has been strengthen and the offert of business spread out by Boluda Corporación Marítima easing the opening of new possibilities of activities has been reinforced.
