The craft will give services in the port of Antwerp.
Boluda Shipyards, the division of Boluda Corporación Marítima dedícate in the construction and naval repair, has celebrated this morning the launching of a tugboat for the port of Antwerp.
The tug has a length of 29, 50 meters, a beam of 12, 50 meters, a height of 4, 50 meters, a draft of 6 meters and a fixed pull of 70 tons. He will make works of assistance to boats in ports and bays. Its two propellant engines will allow them to develop a continuous power of 2.640 kw each of them at 1.000 rpm and get a speed of 13 knots, they will also count with two generators groups of 199 kw of power each of them and a maximum capacity for a crew of 5 persons.
During the next month of June, it is due to realize the launching of a fourth craft to complete then the contract subscribed between the Port Authority of Antwerp and Boluda Shipyards in July 2010.
Boluda Shipyards counts with a long trajectory and experience in the construction of boats and has orientated its strategy in the building of tugboats of port and ocean going, boats of salvages, oil tankers of Little sizes, oil bunkers, boats for auxiliary services of ports, boat of support for offshore platforms and suppliers.
