The tugboat will start to operate in february 2012

This morning in the Boluda Shypyards, division of Boluda Corporacion Maritima dedicated to the built and the repair of boats, took place the launching of the tug boat Ilan I destined to the port of Haifa (Israel)

The event has been christened by Elina Frenkel, President of Haifa Port, who has been accompanied by Doron Ronen President of CPA ISACA Israel, Mendia Zaltzman general manager of Haifa Port, Zohan Rubin, Engineering director of Haifa Port and by the consillors of the same port Omri Dagul and Shimon Hai. As well Manuel Guerra sub director of Port Authority of Valencia took also part of the event.

The tugboat with Voith propulsion that offers it a great security and manoeuvrability has a length of 31, 5 m, a beam of 12,5 m and a stanchion of 4,85 and a fixed pull of at least 70 tons.  It is equipped with two propellant engines of 2650 kw each of them. It is as well equipped by systems against fire for the other boats.

It’s the second time that the Port Authority of Haifa counts with Boluda Shipyards for the built of a boat.
