The company staff will be incorporated into the multinational’s workforce as part of the operation

Boluda Port Services, the Boluda Corporación Marítima division providing mooring, supply and barge/launch services to vessels, has acquired one hundred percent share capital of the company Amarradores del Puerto de la Bahía de Cádiz, SL.

This purchase aligns with Spanish multinational’s plan to consolidate its strategic position in the south of Spain in in-port services, a less visible but vitally important sector for correct functioning of ports.

The acquisition took place on December 15, 2020 with the purchase of 100% of the shares, previously owned by two equal partners, and also includes the staff already part of the company.

This operation coincided with the launch of the Daily Canarias line, in operation since November 30 last year. This freight transport service provides a daily connection between the peninsula and the main Canarian ports via the ports of Cádiz and Seville.
