The Boluda Corporación Marítima shipping company has 14 specialized lines for perishable and refrigerated produce

The shipping company will be exhibiting at stand C-01 in Hall 26

Boluda Corporación Marítima shipping company Boluda Lines will exhibit with its own stand (C-01, Hall 26) in its first attendance at Fruit Logistica, the world’s leading fresh produce trade fair, to be held on 6, 7 and 8 February at the Expocenter City and the Citycube in Berlin, Germany. This event showcases the entire fruit and vegetables supply chain in a single space, providing a global market view of new products and technology, as well as innumerable international networking opportunities.

In line with their recent expansion and internationalization strategy for commercial lines and investment in new reefers, attending this fair opens up new business opportunities for Boluda Lines as specialists in shipping perishable produce such as fruit and vegetables.

The Boluda Corporación Marítima shipping company will take advantage of the platform provided by Fruit Logística to introduce importers and exporters to their maritime connections between the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Portugal, Italy, Northern Europe, Western Africa and Cape Verde, which from February will increase in frequency to a weekly service. Boluda Lines also has a river transport route in Latin America via the Paraná-Paraguay Waterway, which connects the ports of Asunción, Buenos Aires and Montevideo.

Reefers

Another area in which the company has improved maritime services is quality, enhanced by increasing the number of reefer containers; the Boluda shipping company has invested in new, mainly 45ft refrigerated containers, as the most in-demand size in the sector.

Boluda Lines has also planned new operational improvements to fresh fruit and vegetable produce export, such as using Boluda Maritime Terminal Las Palmas as a hub for the west coast of Africa. The Boluda Corporación Marítima shipping company uses this Canary Islands port as a transhipment platform to channel all traffic between the West African countries and the Peninsula.

Boluda Cargo Int´l

In addition to maritime transport, the Boluda Lines division offers its customers door-to-door land, sea and international transport services through its subsidiary Boluda Cargo Int’l, which has local offices in the main Spanish ports. Its extensive network of agents offers clients a personalized service with worldwide coverage.

One of the most important gatherings across the entire fresh produce sector in the international arena, this event was attended last year by more than 3,200 companies from 84 countries and over 78,000 visitors, providing an opportunity for producers, suppliers and intermediaries to exchange experiences and expand commercial networks.
