The act was lead by her Majesty the Queen Letizia.

Vicente Boluda assisted the last 17th to the annual meeting of women for Africa, act who was lead by her Majesty the queen Letizia and counted with the presence of the president of Liberia.

The act started with the meeting of the patronage of the foundation Women for Africa presided by Mª Teresa Fernández de La vega and of which Boluda Corporacion  Maritima is part of it, inside its politic of corporative social responsibility in its decisive compromise with Africa

In her intervention de La Vega made reference in the equality between men and women, as the only path to the peace, due to the fact that women are the most secure bet, with them we go quicker and we arrive further. On her side, Ana Botin, president of Banco de Santander  and also member of the patronage told its members to keep contributing  to the growing of the foundation as it is the way to help to educate and start.

One of the most waited interventions in the meeting was the one of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, actual president of Liberia and Nobel Peace Price 2011 who thanks the collaboration of the foundation in the project Stop Fistula and the great support given during the ebola crisis

The foundation women for Africa, of private way, was born with the purpose to become an entity of reference in the national and international área, compromised with the economic and social sustainable development, the human rights, peace, justice and dignity of the persons, and especially of women and girls in the African continent.
