The towage was done from Gibraltar to Port Harcourt (Nigeria)
The tugboat VB Artico from the fleet of Boluda Towage and Salvage, has done the tow of a pipelay barge ( flat embarkation for tubes), from Gibraltar to Port Harcourt (Nigeria). The barge called “Seven Antares”, belongs to the company Subsea 7, world giant specialized on operations in sea depths.
The great floating structure has a length of 119 metres, 31,7m of large and a depth of 7.31m as well as a weight of 11039 tons. The VB Artico is an offshore tugboat with a power of 10.064 HP and a fixed pull of 107 tons.
The towage has been done in the required time, precisely and effectively.
