Coll is in the executive committee of ISU since December 2011.

 

The manager of Offshore and Salvage of Boluda Towage and Salvage, the port and offshore division towage of Boluda Corporación Marítima, assisted to the general assembly of the International Salvage Union (ISU) that took place in Hong Kong last 24th October.

The main purpose of the International Salvage Union is to represent, promote and safeguard the interests of the members-the biggest world salvage companies- in the social, politic and commercial field.

According to Coll, the also directive and ex chairman of European Tugowner Association (ETA) “This kind of meetings is important to put together the legal terms and the last technologies associated to maritime salvage”

The annual meeting served to name the Captain Leendert Muller as new chairman of the Association. Member since 2008 and vice chairman since 2011, Muller has been announced by his predecessor in charge, Andreas, Tsavliris, as a person “coming from a family with a large tradition in the towage and salvage”. By his side, Leendert Muller focused “the great honor that is to lead ISU” and assured that “I will do my best to represent the interests of the members with the purpose to offer a vital service to the maritime world.
