It’s the highest distinction given to the professionals of the Sea.
Denis Monserand, General Manager of Boluda France, has been awarded with The Maritime Merit Order, in a ceremony celebrated last 4th of October in Aix-en-Provence.
The Maritime Merit Order rewards the merits and threats assumed by the people of the sea and focuses in the importance of the role of the Merchant Marine for France.
To the act of attribution of the award, have assisted Vicence Boluda, President of Boluda Corporación Marítima, accompanied by his sons Vicente and Ignacio and by Antonio Bordils, delegate adviser of Boluda Towage and Salvage.
Friends and representatives of the maritime world who came from all the French harbors mainly from Marseille and Brittany were also present.
Captain of the Merchant Marine, Monserand is the General Manager of Boluda France since 2007, and has been navigating during 10 years and accumulates an extensive career in the maritime world.
Denis Monserand was surrounded by his family in such solemn and emotive ceremony.
