The action took part in 4 phases.
Boluda Lines, division of transport of goods of Boluda Corporación Marítima, inside its solidary program “Humanitarian Transport”, has completed the delivery of nearly 120.000 kg. of foods assign to the collective of disadvantaged people of Canary Island.
The origin of those foods is the European Community, thanks to a program of assistances to in need people established in 18 countries. In Spain this program is focus through the FEGA (Fondo Español de Garantía Agraria), that depends of the Environment, Rural and Marine Ministry (Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, Medio Rural y Marino), that counts for its distribution with the 52 banks of foods established in all the country
Boluda Lines and the Bank of Foods have collaborated for years, unifying their interests to complete this important social work with the purpose to give foods to the in need people and trying to alleviate the contradiction “ waste-poverty”.
