The tug VB Sargazos rescued the “Sichem Colibri” that was transporting caustic soda to Seville
On 11th August the tug VB Sargazos, which belongs to the Boluda Towage and Salvage division of Boluda Corporación Marítima, successfully refloated the chemical carrier “Sichem Colibri” which had run aground in the mouth of the River Guadalquivir.
The tug VB Sargazos left Cadiz on its urgent mission to succour the chemical carrier that ran aground first thing in the morning near buoy number 14. The “Sischem Colibrí” was bound for Seville with 3,150 tons of caustic soda aboard.
