The new offices will support expansion of its operations across the Scheldt region and provide modern facilities for its teams, including a dedicated training simulator.

Boluda Towage has officially inaugurated its new Antwerp offices at Noorderplaats, reaffirming its presence to Belgium, one of Europe’s most strategic maritime hubs for its activity.

The inauguration was led by Steven De Nijs, Deputy CEO of Boluda Towage Europe,  and Filip De Wilde, newly appointed General Manager of Boluda Towage in Belgium,  alongside representatives of port authorities, customers, employees and partners, officially unveiled the company’s new headquarters. While Boluda Towage has been operating in Antwerp since 2019, its Belgian maritime heritage dates back to 1870, representing more than 150 years of local expertise and commitment to the region

These new facilities mark an important milestone in Boluda Towage’s presence in Belgium, providing a renovated, fully branded workspace that includes a training simulator. The simulator forms part of its training programme, supporting the onboarding and development of new recruits, playing a key role in the continuous development of crews and captains. Through highly realistic simulation-based training, crews strengthen their vessel handling and manoeuvring capabilities while enhancing their decision-making, situational awareness, anticipation and communication skills.

This practical approach helps prepare them for a wide range of operational scenarios in a safe and controlled environment. Training is delivered by experienced captains who remain actively involved in day-to-day operations, bringing real-life knowledge and insights into the development of future generations of maritime professionals.

Northern Europe is a key strategic market for Boluda Towage, bringing together some of the continent’s busiest ports and major industrial and logistics hubs. Over the past decade, the company has expanded its presence across the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Finland and Norway, operating in more than 21 ports across the region, with a fleet of 138 vessels and highly experienced local crews.

Following the inauguration of Boluda’s Rotterdam headquarters in July 2026, the Antwerp offices mark another milestone in the group’s strategy to strengthen its European network, combining international scale, developing local talent and maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.
