Boluda awarded Tangier Med pier contract

The group strengthens its position in the Moroccan port it also has been providing towing services since 2005

 

Boluda Corporación Marítima, through the Societe du Lanamage in Detroit, where it participates alongside the African roll-on/roll-off operator Comarit, has been awarded the pier contract for the port of Tangier Med and its roll-on/roll-off area. For the next ten years the corporation will run cargo ship loading and unloading services using innovative equipment formed by two latest-generation pilot crafts, two pier boats and three vehicles. Cargo ship « LOLA B » makes first stopover in the port of Lisbon

The first route run by Boluda Corporación Marítima to Portugal is now inaugurated

The containership, operated by Boluda Lines, covers a route from Marín- Las Palmas-Lisboa-Marín

 

The cargo ship Lola B, belonging to the Boluda Lines fleet, the Boluda Corporación Marítima cargo transport division, has made its first stopover in the port of Lisbon. The company has therefore officially inaugurated the new route it recently launched to respond to the demand from markets in the Canary Islands served by its ships and that of its customers and international operators. The cargo ship, which left Marín this past Friday on route to Lisbon, loaded up at Las Palmas and continued onto Lisbon, where it docked today for the first time.After loading and unloading operations, it continued on to Marín, its final destination where it stops every Friday in order to set sail once again for the Islands. This is the first time that the Boluda Corporación Marítima hasmade a stopover in Portugal, which will now allow the company to service the entire Iberian Peninsula through its national coastal routes. Boluda Corporación Marítima maintient ses résultats grâce à l’internationalisation et la rationalisation de ses activités

Elle ferme l’exercice 2009 avec des revenus de 485 millons d’euros et un résultat de 84 millions.

40% du chiffre d’affaire provient de la division de remorquage avec une présence dans trente ports d’Espagne, France et Afrique.

Boluda Corporacion Maritima a parié sur le renforcement de la Terminal de la Luz à Las Palmas, qui s’est accrue 53%.

La prévision de la corporation pour cette année est de croître 10% après augmentation de 7 % de ses revenus au premier trimestre.

Boluda Corporación Marítima a fermé l’exercice 2009 avec des revenus totaux de 485 millions d’Euro et un EBITDA de 84 millions, ce qui suppose le maintient des résultats de l’exercice antérieur. Cette balance, dans le cade d’incertitude économique internationale qui a provoqué la contraction du secteur, suppose un appuie à la stratégie que la corporation a inicié il y a 5 ans et garantie la stabilité du projet d’affaires.
