It will provide services in the port of Dakar (Senegal)

Its sister ship “VB Joal” was added to the fleet in July

Boluda Francia has added the “VB Sangomar” to the fleet in the port of Dakar (Senegal), through its local company URD (Union de Remorqueurs de Dakar). An ASD type tug, it is 32.50m long, with 11.95m beam and 4.30m depth, powered by 4,484 hp with a bollard pull of 60 metric tons. It is equipped with the latest technology including state-of-the-art firefighting and marine pollution control systems.

The tug joins its sister ship the “VB Joal” that arrived in Dakar last July. The fleet operating in the port of Dakar is completed with the “VB Nora”, “VB Gorée” and “VB Somone”, state-of-the-art tugs that place this fleet among the best of the West African coast.

With this addition Boluda Towage and Salvage continues with its planned fast-paced fleet expansion and renewal.
